HY+ to get a new CEO
HY+, the University of Helsinki Centre for Continuing Education, will get a new CEO. Marjaana Suutarinen, the current CEO, and the board of the company mutually agreed on Tuesday, 26 February 2019 that Suutarinen would leave her position at the helm of the company, effective immediately.
“Marjaana Suutarinen has steered HY+ through a challenging period of transformation. We thank her for her contributions to the company,” states Leena Paananen, chair of the HY+ board.
A recruitment process to find a new CEO will be launched without delay. Applications are welcomed from both internal and external applicants. Kimmo Kärpijoki will serve as an interim CEO until the appointment of the new CEO.
The change has no effect on the company’s operations.
