The programme of this visit contains opportunities to meet with Finnish education experts, authorities, and local schools. You will learn about the Finnish Education System framework, and will have the opportunity to observe how educational theory works in practice in Finnish classrooms within the Helsinki Metropolitan area. Target group: teachers, principals, administrators, students and all others interested in learning about the Finnish educational system.
The aim of the visit is to explore the Finnish educational system, teacher education system, and evaluation of education. Participants will gain insights into the Finnish education transformation by meeting with experts from Finnish teacher education. They will have the opportunity to learn from, and exchange ideas with, the leading experts of learning and education in Finland. Participants will also learn about Finnish educational philosophy and methodological practices in the education of primary and lower and upper secondary schools, as well as in early childhood education. The teaching days will be carried out as lectures, discussions, and school visits.
Participants will be escorted by a staff member from the University of Helsinki Centre for Continuing Education HY+ Ltd. Global Services team.

Price per person: 1200.00€ + VAT 24% ( total 1 200,00€)
The price of EUR 1 200 includes fees for lecturers, visits to schools and other organisations, lunches, local transportation in Finland, sightseeing, and one dinner during the visit. The final confirmation letter will be sent to the participants either when there are at least 10 participants registered, or at the latest shortly after the final registration day on 31.03.2020. In case the Eduvisit is cancelled, the organiser is not responsible for any travelling or accommodation costs already incurred by the participant.
